hey dude, if you weant to see what rails do to skogens your talkin to the right cat!
first of all the skis kick ass. there flexy but hold.
liight and responsive, light oh ya..
rails hurt skis big time!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If anyone argues that they havent a clue!
you'll bure you egdes till you cant get them 88 degrees again.
but................
its worth it, rails add style to your skiing and balance principles that are critical.
you best bet is to jib like hell, save like hell in the summer, buy another pair of lines and have a jib ski and a ski/pipe ski.
YOU NEED GOOD SHARP EDGES IN THE PIPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I take a file to my brand new skis every season...file the livin' shit right out of them under neath my foot...cause new skis on rails blow camel penii (yes, that's plural). Rails don't damage skis that bad, especially if you stay away from the fun stuff on rails, like switch up's, diastering the last segment of the roller coaster rail, 450's on and just general diasters. That's what hurt skis and blow edges. Also I've learned, don't let Thor bend you ski, he'll make a powder ski look like a noodle and almost make you cry as he bends your new twigs like a string of spagetthinni.
Skiing without rails is really like old school

The allure of new skiis wears off after ~5 days on snow when they get all banged up anyway, after that you won't even notice/care how much beating they take...

Man rails totally destroy your edges...if they don't then your spending way to little time on rails or your using some sort of super ski that I've never heard of. Regardless the ski or company if you hit rails then your edge will become rounded. Unless you start disastering or switching up on rails you shouldn't blow an edge out but yeah rails kill skis... some people try to have different pairs of skis for different aspects of skiing but I can't imagine switching skis every few runs...just giver dude and whatever happens, happens. If you spend too much time worrying about hurting your skis then you'll never progress. Peace,
WU

Keep your middles Filled down so you dont catch the edge while slidding
Your base may get a little eaten up scratched up and your edges will be dull in the middle but aside to that you should be pretty damn ok unless your sliding concrete ledges
* I had just launched myself 50feet in the air Off a boother when both my skiis pop off. So I think to myself What would Jared do?*
