Replying to The state of the scene in Atlantic Canada
Hey what's up guys? I never even knew that there was a regional section to this site, at that, one for Atlantic Canada.
I'm really impressed with how many of you are out there. I've spent the past few years in Atlantic Canada trying to help promote comps and helping to push the parks in both NS and NB. I live in Fredericton and if any of you guys wanna sess some of the urbans on campus, let me know, we have some awesome double kinks, quad's, urban C-rail, not to mention dozens of rails over 100 feet long. As for the scene, I'm not gonna get into it much this year cause I'm graduating and trying to get that done, but my advice is get involved with the sport, and travel to compete!
It's funny that when I started skiing in Atlantic Canada I knew everybody with a pair of twin tips for over 2 years...it's sweet to see where the sport has gone, even here. Not sure if any of my boys use this, but if you'r looking to get involved with the sport, get in touch with John Emberly, Thor Durning or Jeff Jensen. Those are the guys still pushing the sport. Hit me off, peace and one
