I feel that I have accomplished a lot this season, from my tricks to my overall riding skills, and I have shown them well at competitions in the lower 48. My future goals are to do well in some big competitions and keep pushing my riding to the next level and beyond.



Philosophy on Skiing


I love to ski, and I spend a lot of time on the mountain, working on my skills and even spend time off the mountain preparing myself mentally and physically for riding. It is also hard because our resorts still don’t fully understand the new style of skiing, but my friends and I are working to get our resort to build us a terrain park.



History in Skiing


I have been skiing since my parents taught me at the age of two. I started racing at age five and continued until I was fifteen years old. I picked up newschool skiing after I quit racing and have been doing it ever since. I try to work on all aspects of skiing, especially Halfpipe, Slopestyle, skierX, Big mountain, Rails, and all around skiing style. I am still in high school, but am able to work skiing in around my schedule.



Competition results


I Have Competed in many competitions throughout the past few years. This year, my biggest accomplishment was qualifying in the Alaska Snowboard Series so I could participate in the USASA nationals held in Sunday River Maine. I beat out the heavy favorite at the national event, Michael Olenick from the Aspen Snowboard Series. I also competed in the X-Games Qualifiers held at Breckenridge Colorado.
