I've never done it myself, but I'm sure detuning your edges would help a little. I find that every brand new pair of skis I use on rails are a little catchy at first...
A tip for grinding rails:
Have you ever ran and slid in your socks across a really slippery hardwood floor? Or on a skating rink? You know how you run and slide sideways? Picture that when you're about to jib a rail. Commit to it, and if you're coming off the side, just let it happen naturally. Don't try to bail early or fight it cause you'll end up on your nutsack! Keep your hands perpendicular with the end of the rail so that when you do come off you'll be able to get your skis straight. Oh yeah, and did anyone mention to look at the end of the rail! Once you do it a couple of times you'll think it's super easy! Most important thing to do is just practice and find out what works for you! Good luck!
