who do you think will be the first to land one?

rory bushfield tries one in the crdits of high five but dosent really come super close to landing it

skiing should be like mcdonalds...sure they started out with just hamburgers, them they progressed to breakfest sandwiches and salads and mcflurries. we all love the new stuff, but we still love the old stuff as well. so its a good thing they still offer the hambrugers with their mc flurries and breakfast combos -joeengel

You go corked, uncorked, then corked again before landing. Travis Rice has done them on a snowboard. For example, his was a doublecork 1080. He does a cork 360 to cork 720.

When Travis Rice did it over the Dirksen gap it was a cork 5 to a switch cork 5 in the same air. When he hits the peak of his air he's back to regular position then he throws it again. So sick. Only a matter of time before someone throws it on skis.

Yeah, it wasn't a double cork just a really overrotated switch trick. After that he tries a huge zero too..

i couldn't figure them out on a water ramp last year, i was spinning and flipping twice to 10, but it wasn't a double cork...

but water ramps don't count so...

I'm having a hard time conceptualizing a double cork. Perhaps there is a better term for it or maybe someone could describe it? I don't really know how you can "double" your cork. You can double the corked part of your rotation perhaps, but then I'm wondering how you would get the landing gear down.

Sounds cool though. I'm sure someone will figure out.

pyramid gap is also called dirksen gap by snowboarders because dirksen did a backside 9 over it a while back i believe.

and to whoever mentioned a double cork 3, you are retarded, it took years for people to realize it was possible to put any cork whatsoever on a 360

and what makes a double cork cooler than a double invert like wilsons?

ok for the person who cant contimpalte the double cork think of a double cork 5, so the total rotaion will be 1080 but you would do it like a normal cork 5, after the first cork 5 rotaion is over your position upright like you are going to land it. but insted you are still at the apex of your jump so you then do a switch cork 5. what makes this differnt then a cork 1080 is that you are doing 2 sperate tricks but one flows into the other and before you start your second trick of the double you are upright. hope that hellped
