yeah, i mean, you can't even comprehend how much time i sepdn researching. i signed up for every mag, and i'm always on the net researching and working. i am 14, have been dj'ing since i was 9 or 10 (with an actual business), and i just startred making a profit this year. if money isn't an issue for you, i will tel lyou what to do. but thats stupid, do it for yourself. its such a good experience. it really is. i mean, ask for tips from successful pro dj's, but i mean, think about it....just dont go asking them what to do. i researched so much before i went and spent 400 bucks or so on my first mixer and turntable-since then i have invested another 4 or 5 thousand. i run one system, one dj. i can't bring myself to trust someone else with my business (by themselves at a gig). its....i can't describe how i feel about this thread.

actually...scratching might be the cheapest way to goo......but by far most impractical
if you want a DJ BUSINESS you will be cd's or mp3's. i mean legal mp3's not napster. this is crazy, the legalities, start with cd's.
DONT BUY BAD EQUIPMENT start with a few pieces of quality equipment. RESEARCH>
