remember the ones who lost their lives, that sad, sad day in the Atocha train station in Madrid. Terrorism struck home to me that day, as i was going to go there the next week with a class. Commuters, all innocent, got blown away by bombs planted by evil, evil people. 9/11 never really hit home to me. although american, it was ober there, across the atlantic, 14 hours away by plane. Not Madrid. no madrid was next door.

Remember those who lost their lives there.

how many people were even killed in that? you said this was more saddening to you than 9/11, thats bullshit those were americans killed in 9/11 and a hell of a lot more than in madrid. plus there are more people killed by suicide bombers in the middle east all the time. you dont care about those people you care that you could have been hurt.

I'm from Spain, I was away from home when it happened, but I cried, fuck yes, I cried because you know what? I felt the pain, I felt the tears of MY PEOPLE. Fucking bastards, that's what you are- There's been a lot of remembering on the tv. And the bells of the churches were pounding through Madrid. 3/11 will never been forgotten.
And yeah, i can't believe it's already been a year...

^shutup man. dont say that only spanish people will remember a very sad day in history. just imagine that it had been you and your friends on a train when all of a sudden, a bomb ripped through the compartment, killing all your friends and seriously injuring you. you would feel the pain of losing friends. wouldn't you want others to share in your pain or to atleast remember the day that they were killed?

it doesn't take much to remember alright. i'm not asking you to cry every march 11th. i'm just saying that you should have some respect and atleast remember the day that the lives of hundreds were suddenly taking away in an instant.

both terrible tragedies that we should never forget. WTC was 20 miles from my house and my dad used to work there till 2 years before the attacks and many friends died. We should always be alert for things like this because I hope now we realize we are not safe
