has anyone been to tahoe?

has anyone here visited tahoe, skied the area, spent the summers there...anything. i might be moving there this summer and i was curious what it's like.

also do they have any decent ladies there. i seem to be in a town breeding fat midwest looking chicks. i like cheese, just not on my women.

skied at squaw it was really sick, great terrain on the mountain and there was a ton of snow.


I'm looking to buy a pair of Big Stix 8.0 if anyone knows a site or a store in the NY area that has them please message me.

i went there last year, its soo nice!!! i skied at heavenly, and the mountain was alright, but it was spring so i couldnt ski alot of it. its soo pretty, u can see the lake from like every trail. And the town is good too, there's lots to do between the casinos and all the shops and restaurants. plus there's a cold stone, so u cant lose

The summer is really good if your in to the outdoors, like camping, fishing, hiking and so on. The lake it self is to cold to do much in though. And when looking for ladies dont go to truckee, there is 5 guys to 1 girl there, but yeah tahoe is tight.

I live right outside it. and I am almost positive that I will be moving into south shore in a few months.

The summers are great. Perfect weather (always a cool 70 degrees or so). There's so many sports going on. You can go rafting down the rivers, hiking, climbing, or just chill at the jacuzzis out at the resorts.

There's always concerts going on at south shore or you can hit the casinos. There are lots of hot chicks, and to top it off on the nevada side of the lake.. Prostitution is legal! haha, hooray for prositutes. What more could you ask?

And skiing is incredible.

Prostitution is not legal in the tahoe area of nevada, just in a few areas, like outside of sparks, NV. Not that you will be going there any way, who would want to sleep with those whores, especial for money? Where are you moving from?

Yeah, its a good place to be a hooker. Drunk guys, pissing away their money in casinos, partying with their friends, lots of hotel rooms. Yeah its a good spot for hookers.

I was just there this past weekend. I LOVED IT! probs cause we had no snow in whis, but it was really toyt. I liked kirkwood best and squaw second, the snow at kwood was just straight up much better. anyway, the people were all really rad, and I think you'd really like it there. also south lake and tahoe city really aren't big, the lake is surrounded by smallish towns and lots of housing between each. but it's beautiful.

The only thing that beat's tahoe in the summer is Tahoe in the winter.

I live in Grass valley, pretty much on the other side of the mountain range. its only 45 min to sugar bowl from my house though.

Yeah i skied kirkwood, squaw and heavenly, and kirdwood was the funnest. Great place, not very big, the thing i noticed was alot of mexicans, is that all of california or just the area?


Its only for decoration thats it and thats all

nor cal does not have many mexicans(except in truckee), but so cal is all mexicans. There are actually more mexicans then any other race in cali now.

We have a bunchup here but nothing like so cal. I played highschool soccer and there were 2 of us white kid's on the team, i started to pick up an accent an a tan.
