The movie the ring scared the shit out of me. Something about the faces of the victims that looked like they were decomposing really struck me deep and it wasnt a fun experience to have night terrors for 2 yrs straight bc of this movie. But this meme i saw a while back made me feel so much better about the movie and it kind of like dethroned the fear authority of samora (the girl in the ring) by showing that she really isnt that scary if there is shit out there that she is scared of.

Long story short- i love this meme.

I used to be able to deal with scary movies or the x files growing up, but the images of their faces In the ring like burned a hole in my brain when i saw it back in 03. I kind of decided then that psychological horror was simply too good at its job and it is too easy for a movie these days to crack into your subconscious and wreak havoc.
