I read in this ski magazine i get that nordic trick skiing is getting popular and you start seeing jumps in nordic ski areas. It had this picture of a guy doing a switch backflip on nordic skis. He was talkin about how easy it is and how popular itll become because its so damn easy to do tricks, cause of the lightness. The peice also said that they could become sort of a skatebaord idea for flat terrain parks. I think this might destroy of re-underground newschool skiing.

there releasing the first model for sale next fall. Im interested to see if this falls thru or not

that sounds really crazy but i dont think it will take off.(just like twin tip mono skis and snowblades)

Maybe it will, maybe it won't because it is good either way. A flat park? I cannot see that happening.

Yeah, I've heard about/seen this activity before. To me, it looks lame.

As far as whether or not it will take off--I don't think you have too much to worry about. It doesn't quite seem 'cool,' which is a prerequisite for something 'taking off.' Nothing is going to re-underground newschool alpine skiing except unless we newschoolers let it.

ya but the prob is im thinking people who have no skill will take it up cause they can 360 flat ground on there feet so they can like do it easily with a foot of air or somethin. it sorta ruins the fun challenge of twintip skiing. Like i said well see next season.

ya i went x-country skiing in gym class, one our first day i could do flatland 3's, and we didnt even get poles
