I'm going to Stowe in a week and its my 1st time. How is it there I've heard they have some great backcountry for eastcoast? I know you don't go to stowe for the park but do they have a beginner terrian park with low rails and boxes?

there is another part of the mtn across the street that is for like families and shit. i found some sick glades over there one time when everything else was crowded

They have a little park near the gondola, the big parks jump landings suck ass, the pipe is nice, but go down the far left (looking down the mt) and look for the ravine in the woods, it's small frozen waterfalls and shit- funnn

when I was there 3 weeks ago, if you barely clear the knuckle, you still almost overshoot the landing. that's not sick in my book- you land in the flats and jar your knees, I guess if your lookin for injury it's good

The glades are sick at stowe. I was skiing there and just kept going and going in the backcountry and wound up like a mile away from the mountain.

if u get a chance, head to Jay Peak, theyve got more snow, more backcountry, a medium sized terrain park with big jumps, a skier cross course and a rail garden...and the most snow in the east...easily

stowe is my home mountain and they have sick places to ski like big spruce and the tres amigo glades. the terrain park is decent and on a really nice day u can hike the chin. on the weeked it can get crowded around the quad and gondi but usually the triple is fine.

the front four r just ok. some of the "back country" stuff is really good.
