Anyone see the footage of Andy Rosenberg taking a massive fall up Utah way. He fell of the lip and triggered an avalanche then got rolled over a few cliffs but wasn't too badly hurt (well just a broken shoulder and ribs...). It got play of the day down here on a local sports show.

Mark: 'Timo how do you sleep in Finland when it's light all day long?'
Timo (Fireside Lodge pimp) 'You just close your eyes'

I saw it on the Today show (NBC) this morning. I saw the video and he didn't 'fall.' As soon as he dropped in the snow gave way and was taken down, sort of turning staying on top, but without any control of his speed. He was able to work his way to his left to avoid the series of cliffs at the bottom. He got pretty lucky because he would have gotten seriously fuct up otherwise.

The interview was so typical to:

'So are you gonna do this again? A lot of people think you're nuts.'

The only thing he was able to say was 'there are inherent risks in skiing,' which is true, but I thought he could have said some other things.

Anyways, I'm glad he made it out alright. Does anyone know if he analyzed the snow before dropping in?
