does anyone no how to do the rewind/fastforward effect on clips using vegas, or a good tutorial site.

to rewind go to: insert> video envelopes> event velocity, and drag it to the botom of the clip thast selected ti will play it in rewind. to fast forward right click on the clip selsect properties and then change the play bakc rate

no you cant change the play back rate to a negative. and vegas 5 is pretty much the same thing just a few mroe features

a couple more questions:,
how do you add video affects to a specific part of a clip and not the whole thing,
how do you add a title where you can see the background of the clip, and
how do you split clips to create more?
