you gotta be a pretty fuckin dumb skier to break poles. i just bent mine a little, and i huck myself around like crazy. how the hell do you snap them in half? do you ski into trees at full speed?

one actually broke because i jammed it too far up my ass! im serious, i was popping a little lead change before going switch on to a box, my pole tip stuck in the downhill pole, and got wedged up my ass and bent 90 degrees

the only way i can imaging poles breaking is if you've got it wedged between the ground and your foot/ski when someone knocks you over and you put all your weight on it. otherwise quit being so reckless if you break that many poles in a year.

I keep bending them so I now have poles that are bent but still straight (if that makes any sense) from banging them against trees to reshape them...

anathema, I use to think the same, but my friend broke pole after a simple bad landing, and my poles are bent a lot just cuz of park and skiing steeps(where you plant more).
