goto a shop and buy a used board, shipping a board is gonna cost you a ton, and you have a good chance that you will get it in numerous pieces

donmt buy a real piece of shit coz yuo'll get passed the learner stage real fast if you keep at it then you'll just be stuck with a crap board for ages until yuopu get enough money to buy a newy. peace bro get one from Vertigo taranaki New zealand, thats my local shop soooo cool there, you can go up in you undies turn the tv on and lax out on the couch and eat breakfast there if you want, i can anyone owners ARE SOO COOL good deals, peace out

Yeah, definatly go to a shop. Really depends on your size and ability. Any good surfshop will hook you up with a good second hand board. And like said before, make sure to get a good board even though it maybe a little hard to learn on. Surfboards are expensive so you dont want to waste you money on a piece!

that would be alright if your about 5 feet tall, but if your like sixfeet get like a 6'2.

where are you gonna be surfing? your board will kind of depend on the waves you are gonna be riding. in your info thing it says you live in PA, so are you surfing great lakes or something..?

ya i know, but people do it. they get waves like twice a year, there was something about it in Surfer a while ago
