it takes money away from apple. if your thinking of getting a powerbook and read that the G5 powerbook is coming out soon your going to wait for the new one and those products stay in stores and are not sold. or if people hear that a new generation ipod is coming out they will stop buying the current ipod and wait for the next one. if their older products stop selling because of internet rumors they are forced to drop the price to sell them and thats bad for their buisness.

i dotn really care about the apple issue, im not really talking about that. if the court rules in apple's favor, free speach for any other website you can think of based in the us, will be ruined.

its wierd, because bloggers are now what keeps real news accountable, and they are a vital aspect of mass communication. i hope apple loses hard in this case.

its been established for more than 50 years that free speech isnt absolute. for example you cant use any means of comunication to stop people from joining the army in time of war this includes website, you cant say anything that will cause mass panic and surely hurt people (like screaming fire in a movie theater)

freedom of speach being limited happens all the time.
