has anyone seen the new thing that atomic is doing next year where you buy 3 skis instead of 2?
i was looking at it at work yesterday(ski shop) wondering if anyone on here would actually buy it.

i think they're designed to be used like a regular set of skis with one spare if you break one. You don't really need 3 bindings for that.

teamtdot: apparently you're high, and have never skied an Atomic ski.

there's lots of reasons for 3 skis instead of 2.
You blow and edge or take a core shot or something that's not covered by warranty, you still have a pair of skis. there's a warranty issue for some reason, instead of sending your ski away and not being able to ski for 2 months while it's away on warranty, you still have a pair of skis. If you get the set of triplet bindings and mount all 3 skis, then you rotate them each day or two that you're skiing then it cuts the wear and tear on each ski down by one third. the different graphics on each ski make it seem almost as though you have 3 different pairs of skisdepending on how you pair them up. It's actually one of the most practical ideas that's come out if the ski industry since this freeskiing movement started back in 97.

and its also a cheaper way to get more sets of skis....you can buy two sets of triplets, and have three pairs of skis!! w0w!!

I'm trying to come up with a way to ski all 3 triplets at once, but it's still in the design stage. And yeah... the graphics were a bit disappointing. I'm looking forward to a review of the urbans.
