Man when you go up to a rail just relax, come up to it gorilla style, like that you won't slip off the rail, then spin 90with your feet wide, land soft on the rail, and keep looking towards the end og the rail, practice on a box, it is easyer

Commiting is the most important thing in skiing, especially on rails. Keep your leading shoulder dropped a bit and lean forward on the rail. Keep your eye on the end of the rail. Popping really helps as well.

when i first started hitting rails, my biggest problem was my skis kept sliding out from under me. you have to stay forward. it's almost impossible to have your weight too far forward.

seanPISTOL's got it. O and gorilla position is a low crouched position with hands placed down near the knees. Watch Mr. Hall to see what we mean. the harder you pop the easier it is i find. Speed also helps.

joeyjoe heres the deal with rails you need two things to ride them balls and balance. next time before you ride a rial practice pooping and turing 90 flat ground. Now when you approch the rail if your thinking you not ognan do it stop an dhike back up. you have to ocnvince yourslef you can and that falling wont hurt to bad aka the balls. Now for the balance sarting out keep your skis when your riding up to the rail as far a part as you want them on the rail this way you only have to wory aobut roationg also bend oyur knees. - message me with any ?'s

learn on a log. you can get a feel for sliding sideways slow, then put on a helmet and try the rail until you get it.
