it depends on his age, and the degree of the crime he is being charged with, if its a felony and if you are 16 or older you can be charged as an adult in some states, like connecticut, but i dont know the rules in new york or wherever your from, but as long as its just a misdemeanor you dont really have to worry and you can use the youthful offender clause, so provide his age and the degree of the crime, and maybe we can find the laws from your state, then we could find out

yeah if hes 16 and its not a felony hes fine, one of my freinds did YO for posession of paraphenilia and all he had to do was community service, then it was wiped off of his record forever, he should be fine

My friend who is 17, well to make a long story short, he is facing charges for his 3rd assult on someone in the past few months. He definitly had a good reason, but the cops didn't think so. They're treating it as an assult case and he could get into major trouble for it considering 16 is the age they try as adults.

Also a huge concern with minors accused of anything is.. Are there any priors?

If he's going to court for something that he has on his record numerous times, then he most likely will not just walk away with it.

If it's an offense that he has no priors with (has a pretty clean record in the past), chances are in this case that he'll just get a slap on the wrist (something stupid like some community service or whatnot) and walk.

yea it was bullshit, the kid was talking shit to us when we told him there was a mini park, so we were going to get one of my younger freinds to beat him up, my friend was just yelling at him, so i came up and punched him in the face, knocked him straight to the ground... then i was stupid and took another run cuz i figured he would not be a pussy and would ski away but no, as we were riding up the chair i see the little shit with a bunch of ski patrol and they were pointing at us, we denied everything and when i saw the stupid fuck he had a huge cut on the side of his eye where i got him, he deserved every bit of it

I have, in the past, received props for making fun of people online. That's very sad and very pathetic, of course (this being the internet after all), but that's beside the point; the point is that although I have, in my time, laid some pretty harsh mockery down in post form, much of it on this very website. But I can say with little reservation that I have never, and may never aspire to the degree of E-rape that Mr. Pires has just handed you, Ahmet. About punching kids in the face, I've seen alot of kids get punched in the face and I doubt that people get permanent records or anything for that. So you're probably fine... mind you I knocked a door off of it's track in a Loeb store and I've been going to court now since January, so I can't say for sure.

The court system sucks!
