Heliskiing?

So i'm planning on saving up quite a lot of money until like next december to go heliskiing next season somewhere in British Columbia, between the coast mountain and the rockies probably. Just wanted to know if anyone had done it and some info about the company they used, price, lodging and stuff???

in all honesty I wouldnt spend the money either, I'd much rather go touring, and if your thinking you'll get some sick lines you'll most likly be very dissapointed. just a heads up..

Yeah I think you could ski sicker shit if you just bought Bc gear and went cat skiing, you'll end up dropping about the same amount of money and ski just as much that day but more for the rest of the winter.

yeah I guess cat skiing isnt bad, but how do you not get sick lines when you heli in the rockies?? i know theres a lotta cat and heli skiing around nelson and revelstoke, and its true that pictures from cat ski operators look just as sick as the heli ones.

well for starters you'll probably get stuck with a bunch of fat texans who cant ski for shit and dont know how to use trancievers, so there goes your morning(the guides teaching them) then you'll get droped off on stuff that they might be able to make it down.. they arnt going to drop you onto a sick peak, it'll be a mellow bowl somwhere.. unless you can find a private operation that'll take just you or you can fill the heli or cat with your friends.
