ipod help

can an ipod play an mp4 file. Its only these mp4 file types that wont work. If an ipod cant play an mp4 flie can anyone tell me how I can convert an mp4 to an mp3. thanks

stuff that you pay for and download from i-tunes is in mp4 format, so without a doubt you should be able to find a way to get in on your podular.
