Aha, maybe you guys will find this funny but probably not, tell me what you think though I wrote it for english. Its supposed to be about someone day dreaming basically.
There he was; he had been waiting for this moment for what seemed like ages. This thought, in fact, was one that kept stabbing him in the head in the most of awkward moments. Just as he stepped on stage, feeling more confident than ever, he looked up. A modest crowd of 50 or so filled the seats of the small auditorium. To Tanner however, this crowd didn’t seem modest at all. The seats seemed to continue without end. Analyzing, prying, judging eyes filled those seats; eyes which pierced Tanner’s confidence like a spear.
Gathering himself, Tanner gracefully, despite his nervous demeanor, made his way towards the looming piano in the center of the stage. Tanner’s tuxedo suddenly glinted in the light; the crowd was now filled with thousands. Thousands of those piercing eyes, just waiting to see the one mistake in Tanner’s playing. Near the top of the crowd there was a gap, where crowded seats were replaced by a more relaxed seating arrangement, seating only a few, seemingly important people. In one of those seats, Tanner knew, sat the Queen.
His hands slick with sweat, Tanner opened his book and gathered his sheet music. Gazing down at the notes and rhythms the talented musician could not help but think about the importance of this concert. Despite his diverse and decorated musical career, Tanner could not stop the sweat gathering on his forehead, the queasiness in his stomach or even the thoughts racing in his musical mind.
Now was the time to lay Tanner’s sweaty fingers on the pearly keys of the grand piano at which he was sitting. Trying to block out his mind’s supposed disapproval of the whole event, Tanner began to play his lovely piece. With the first key stroke, Tanner came to realize that he had no reason to be nervous, no reason to doubt himself; for he was the famous Tanner. Virtuoso Pianist Tanner Hall was playing for the queen for a reason, he was the best, and he did not make mistakes. With this in mind, melodies and rhythms alike flowed like water from Tanner’s hands onto the keys of the piano and out into the crowd.
Finishing his marvelous performance, which was in fact without flaw, as would be expected from a master such as himself, Tanner Hall stepped back from the beautiful instrument and bowed to the audience. The crowd roared with approval at the young man’s talents. Graciously and modestly, the young musician receded from the stage, vanishing behind the burgundy curtains that outlined it.
“That was simply amazing, assured tanner’s mother, “You impressed us all.
“Yeah, that was awesome T, added Tanner’s best friend, Mark Frank, “I never knew you could play like that! Tanner then proceeded to take a seat in the modest crowd and watch his fellow class mates display their talents.
After every other young performer finished their act, Tanner stepped back up onto the creaky old stage, making sure not to stumble on the legs of the ragged, old piano the music teacher had generously donated for the show. Clasping hands, the classmates all gave a bow while their friends and parents cheered and clapped. The moment Tanner had been waiting for so long to attain had come and the marvelous young man, whether playing for the queen or not, had certainly outdone himself.
