anders_aK2 is amongst the brands we usually get to demo so hopeing for a demo of both, I have way to many "short" park skis already, but people do say good things about them. How do you feel the energy in the ski is vs lighter friends skiiing the 102? Makes me nervous when people light people are saying it fits them and flexes nice ;)
colorado_frenchyNot sure what I'm gonna end up grabbing (if I do) but I'm excited about those:
* Reckoner 102
* Updated Prodigy 3.0

freeskibum82Just ordered the '21 Hawx Ultra XTD 130s in anticipation of a ski resort shutdown and i'll need to hike. Can't wait to see how they compare with this new mimic liner to that of my '20 Hawx Ultra 130s
.nastyI'm a bit nervous on the mimic liner since I loved the liner in last years XTD 130. I have a feeling it'll be great but ya never know.
elm.I squirted a bunch of jb weld on my revisions so I got that going for me
brentkimballtryna get jeff 108s shift bindings and FT acendants
Kbob94Don’t get the shift!!!!!!!
brentkimballwhy not they seem great
Kbob94Owned it for two winters and sold it! Not powerful, issues with toe staying in place and the afd dropping, only 1 riser sucks. I put it through the paces and the kingpin WAY outshines it!
brentkimballi want to be able to ski them normally in the resort tho

animatorFor the record I’ve had shifts for 2 seasons and skied them from backcountry to resort to park and haven’t had a single issue. A lot of people who report problems with forward pressure or the AFD are idiots who haven’t adjusted theirs properly (or the shop that mounted them are idiots). They’re a great binding and I highly recommend them. Kingpins are good bindings too but if you like to charge you need to lock the toes to prevent prerelease, and if you fall your knees are going bye bye. I’ve owned both and the Shift is a lot better of a binding imo
hot.pocketThey'll have better resort performance than the kingpin and as long as you set them up correctly you shouldn't have any issues. Also, just power through having one riser, if you're using the second riser for any extended period of time you picked the wrong approach.
