jjamsSurfing might like to have a word. Similarly beautiful places, maybe a more fun activity, and it's usually warm.
1NF1N1T3I’ve tried motorcycling, skydiving, skating etc. and tbh no sport even comes close to skiing. It’s just crazy fun to be at the mountain shredding. And a great way to travel and meet people at home and abroad
bennwithtwonsmountain biking is super fun. every day is like a pow day. unless you live in a place that rains a lot, the trails are basically always the same, so it isn't as weather-dependent as skiing. you can also go places that you would otherwise never go.
little1337I'd say surfing is the closest to skiing as the best feeling sport, but the time you actually spend riding waves throughout a session is only like a minuet or two. Skiing you get the feeling for hours and is much less dependent on the weather (as in waiting for waves) than surfing.
pinkcamo1000surfing is like going touring. A true nature experience, you work a lot for a very brief but amazing reward.
I honestly can't think of anything that is similar to resort skiing. No other sport has a much infrastructure as skiing, with all of the chairlift, lodges, condos, bars, etc. which is part of why resort skiing is kinda wack, but it's also why resort skiing is so fun, you can just goof off and get an extreme adrenaline rush in nature while simultaneously having so many amenities at your fingertips.

vibecheckThis all the way but add badminton
TheMoostafianIts such a hard thing to quantify, but I think I get equal enjoyment from riding motorcycles.
Hunting is also fucking awesome, but i don't think its really comparable; its rewarding in a very different way.
That being said, if i had to list the 5 best days of my life, at least 4 of them would be days spent on the mountain.
OregonDeadyes. I knew you were alright OP. skiing is the best high
1NF1N1T3If I’m being a bad poster it’s cause I haven’t skied in a while. Srs.
OregonDeadyou should come out to Oregon and ski with me this season
-arc-Skiing will always be there, and yes I’d say nothing really compares to besides surfing (and only slightly).
However coming back to playing team sports after a long break from them has been super fun. The constant shit talking never gets old.
vibechecku wanna play
badminton doubles?
-arc-I could get around that.
OCoffeyDoes no one think skating is as fun? I don’t skate so I wouldn’t know but it seems somewhat similar to park skiing

1NF1N1T3Skating blows.... concretes a bitch.
Hamezyeah biking is just as much fun, but it is also like 10x as scary. like if you bail on a bike youre hitting rocks, dirt and trees without the comfort of snow being there as a cushion.
