What's the dumbest thing you've ever done?

Ski related or not. I'm sure there's some crazy folks on here.

When people tailgated me in HS or were dicks and beeped their horns, I would drive super slow, then floor it to 60ish on residential streets. Once drove 80mph in a 35mph zone cuz I was late and forgot something. So stupid. Sooooo stupid. Coulda killed someone or myself. Ford escort with no airbags too. God I feel so stupid and ashamed saying that I did that.

Another time I felt the need to get over and pass two semis before my exit on the highway. It was less than a quarter mile. Cut over at the last second and realized I was doing 95. God was that a dumb moment.

I did some dumb shit like that when I was in HS but I also worked summer jobs towards the end of HS where I drove shuttles in the summer for summer tourists so i kinda learned how to chill out which is nice.

probably the dumbest shit was last summer when i fucked my foot up really badly but whatever, i pay a lot more attention doing anything and learned that rushing anything will do no good. Find a good pace and itll help with a quality product doing anything imo. Oh and pay attention.

Has to be trynna drift my rx7 in the highschool parkinglot after class

I snap-oversteered at like 40mph, smacked a curb, aired out the sidewalk and skidded to a stop in the middle of the lawn right in front of the school as EVERYONE was leaving or picking up their kids.

I'm really, really lucky that I didn't hit anyone and there wasn't much property damage. I thought I was the absolute shit but I was just the biggest douchebag ever

The first time I did Xanax. Magically ended up in a hospital room cuffed to a chair with a random cell phone in my pocket and zero recollection of what had happened. Got the cops called on me for somehow doing donuts in my AWD jeep, ran from the cops once the lot me up, got arrested, was taken to the hospital and then screened for drugs and alcohol since I was completely incoherent. Oh, to be 16

in either 7th or 8th grade my friend showed me a baggie filled with this white powder and i though it was badass, so i brought it to school to show my friends thinking I was some type of narco. really is was just some crushed up tylenol or advil and someone ended up stealing it out of my backpack and it ended up in the hands of this bitch named sara. She took it to the lower school dean and snitched and I got in a lot of shit for that and my parents got a call while they were on vacation and they were not happy. Definitely the dumbest shit I did before i got to highschool.

Swam around in the atlantic ocean at 1 am for a couple hours to escape getting busted by cops for drinking on the beach.

it was stupid but i got home safe and didnt get attacked by a shark. But at least its a good story to tell people who think they are cooler than me.

I have a couple:

In third grade, I cheated on my history exam.

In fourth grade, I stole my uncle Max's toupee and I glued it on my face when I was Moses in my Hebrew School play.

In fifth grade, I knocked my sister Edie down the stairs and I blamed it on the dog...

When my mom sent me to the summer camp for fat kids and then they served lunch I got nuts and I pigged out and they kicked me out...

But the worst thing I ever done -- I mixed a pot of fake puke at home and then I went to this movie theater, hid the puke in my jacket, climbed up to the balcony and then I made a noise like this: hua-hua-hua-huaaaaaaa -- and then I dumped it over the side, all over the people in the audience. And then, this was horrible, all the people started getting sick and throwing up all over each other. I never felt so bad in my entire life.

Butt dialed the cops to my own party in high-school. Bastards took their truck mudding to get back to where we were, made us dump all our alcohol and found a sober driver to drive us home tho. 10/10 cops tho, didn't call any parents or give out any citations.

Dumb as fuck, definitely should have just chilled out and decided to ski another day thinking back on it. There were times where id have to come to a complete stop or use the rumble strips to figure out where i was on the road. Fucked up. Risk it for the biscuits i guess.

Lmao I've done the rumble strip technique driving to VT through storms overnight. Also followed semis cuz they clean off the road a bit with their draft. Definitely top 10 sketchiest experiences.

Hitchhiked across town from one of the worst areas of my city at 2 in the morning because i was too stingy to pay 40$ for an Uber. The first guy that picked me up gave me a beer and the second guy gave me a hit off of his dab pen so i got lucky.

So many its hard to choose but in 6th grade on my way ti baseball practice I thought I'd impress these girls by going by them really fast on my ten speed but my mitt got caught in the front tire and landed on my face and woke up 45 minutes later in an ambulance and my face and brain hasn't been the same since.

I know this is hella basic, but—driving drunk. Especially the time I tried to ride my R6 home hammered from my friends house. Luckily/unluckily I crashed 2 blocks from his house and woke up in the hospital. But luckily, I never made it to the freeway.. it was a 30 minute drive, so not a short trip

i drove on shrooms once in HS. I was trying to get across town before they kicked in. They beat me (but i made it)

One of my earliest memories is when this kid in school gave me some sticky putty that smelt like cherry, I carried it around with me all day. Only about 10 years later did I finally realise it was probably his chewed up bubblegum that he gave me

Once I was doing about 80 mph in my Subaru Impreza through the Eisenhower tunnel heading skiing. I ended up blasting out the other side into 4'' of snow on I-70. I started in the right lane, went full drift opposite lock on the first sweeping turn and drifted all the way into the left shoulder and missed the guard rail by about 6''. Then I was finally able to downshift and got it under control. My buddy didnt say anything for like 15 min and finally only said, "Yo that was fucked."

Another time in Boulder I was high and doing doughnuts in a parking lot. I saw a cop spot me and started slowly driving over so I immediately pulled into a spot and helped this disabled employee push carts back into the store. The cop just kind of rolled by and glared at me but it wasnt worth him looking like a complete ass that that point. I dont know how all that shit came together but it saved me a lot of trouble.

I’m recent memory, I tried driving a work Tahoe through a large puddle and got the thing stuck/flooded

Fortunately it all dried out and doesn’t have any lasting damage but the rubber duckies that keep showing up on my desk will never end
