Brightspace help

Is anyone taking online classes through brightspace? If so, how the fuck do you do the work? I was supposed to attend a class at 11 am but I have no clue how to find the work. I've checked all of the options of every drop down menu and have found my syllabus, but I still have no idea how to interact with my teacher or find my assignments.

I was having similar issues with the programs my teachers were running. Finally just had to email them to figure it out.
