SashacI'm stoked but I moved from BC to Pennsylvania, how disappointed will I be?

SavageBiffYour gonna be disappointed don’t let anybody fool you, the East is great, I love it here but it’s a world away from the Rockies etc...
I’m in Pittsburgh and I travel to New England or snowshoe wv, I haven’t skied in pa for over 10 years.
We don’t have the elevation, the vert or the snowfall, The mountain terrain is considerably more subtle, more groomed and park like. Lake Erie and Ontario produce some good lake effect for northern pa, NY, VT but not so much for southern or eastern PA. So it’s gonna be severely different but it’s still fun if you love to ski especially if you can travel.
Welcome to PA
SashacI'm in Pittsburgh myself actually. I was looking at getting a 7 springs/LM/HV pass just for the sake of convenience. I heard Snowshoe is decent but can't see myself making the 4 hour drive every weekend. I'll probably do Snowshoe once this winter and I'd like to explore some mountains in VT too, maybe Montreal.

animatorThe hype is too real!
DingoSean8 meters of snow so far for Niseko this year.
That translates to 300 or so inches. Its Not even halfway through January. We still have 3 months of snowfall to go.
This is absurd. So much snow!!
