The stoke is REAL. I know that this season will not be what we’re used to but god damn am I so thankful that I can ski regardless. Love all of you let’s make some FUCKING turns
Dudes it’s gonna be a great season! Especially for pass holders who are really getting an edge in the beginning .
August is gone, the hot muggy work weather is gone, we’ve overcome many months to get here , only two to go, and tbh, for me it flew by.
I can’t wait to ski, ice , rain, sleet pow no matter what I’m booking days, not missing a day due to a shitty forecast. Can’t wait to eat a hotdog or cheeseburger on the mountain, idc if the restraint social distances by shoving my food thru a doggy door with a stick I’ll eat it! Idc if there’s only snow patches and rocks I’ll ski it !
New edits , new skis , new mountains new skills hopefully some new friends can’t wait
Weird, but this summer I’ve had the least amount of stoke for ski season in all my years of skiing, idk what it is. Sorry to kill the vibes. Send some good ones my way.

Any word on Snowshoes plan for the winter? Sounds like it should be semi normal Ol' Jim Justice dropped the F-bomb on live TV and scared the virus away.
They better with how much money they cost lol
I'm psyched for this season, I only have in person classes until thanksgiving then it's all online and my schedules easy enough where I can go take a half day and go ski or just take the day off, anyone in NE wanna shred this year?

As of Rn business as usual, they have cancelled some of their larger events and are basically being quiet about future plans but of course they will be subject to the alterra/ikon guidelines if any are made, being that it’s such an un crowded resort, I don’t see there being any issues getting reservations there if that’s how ikon plays out.
The bike park etc are going strong rn and basically operating as normal.
patagonialukewoke up to an instant mood booster today:
Wow dude where do you live Or are at rn? I want that view when I move out west in 5 years.

I live in Crested Butte, got super lucky and found a place that happens to have a killer view. Though the 5 flights of stairs never get any easier at 9000'.
Did 4 14ers in Park county on Sunday and there was a dusting above treeline and I was pumped! Then today there was another dusting on Breck and my buddy snapped a sick pic for the marketing team thats on their insta now.
Its gettin to be hoodie weather again! The town might look dead to the untrained eye but you can feel that extra stokedness when running into a fellow local. The mountain employees are rampimg up work, lifts are getting fine tuned, snowmaking is getting all their pumps and lines set for when they on board 40 more employees in about a month and start blowin! Locals are gettin out in the town to get those off season deals knowing they wont wanna battle the crowds come winter. Retail shops are switching from bike videos to ski edits. Even at my warehouse job we just watched 'BE Inspired' over an extended lunch break. Even with the undelying unknown and inevitable changes that we will have to endure, we will be skiing! We will be hitting rails. We will be stomping new tricks, huckin cliffs, rippin trees, slappin five and makin friends!!
Damn, I've got a surgery coming up that is gonna sideline me till January. When I come back I'm gonna have to ski alone because when you go with your boys you know how that goes.
Its been nice and cool in the mornings lately. I can smell fall in the air. As much as I hate the shorter daylight hours it just means its time to switch gears for the new season
Skiing is such a blessing, i cant wait for this season and the stoke is even higher cause of the extended wait. Be ready for people to go the fuck off this year because everyone is dying to get back on the snow

I'm always stoked to ski, but this season is going to be pretty sucky if people in charge of the world don't quit this stupid virus crap.
Going to have to get reservations to go ski at Bachelor and it's going to suck wind.
OCoffeyYeah I’m sticking with Shasta for the winter pass but hopefully it will be all good in the spring and I’ll be able to get a spring pass to Bachy
Let's hope by spring that there will be no restrictions. I love me some spring skiing! Hope to see you there!
