Pretty sure this is the first thread about grits. Yummy yummy in my tummy. Grits are dope. Not insta grits. Not quaker cooked grits. I'm talking the real shit you get in the south. Shit is gooooooood. Just made some. So creamy and yummy. Added some cajun seasoning too so at the far end it has a super late spicy lingering finish.
I used to think grits were gross til I had actual good grits. It's just corn is all. With some added milk, cheese, spices, etc.
Anyone else like grits? Any good recipes? My only gripe is it takes forever to cook and when it splashes on you, it's worse than hot oil.
