I don’t know for sure but I believe Frankie Hill was the first to grind a handrail and the first one to do a bunch of famous gaps as well (Carlsbad). But Natas could have also been the first. No idea who did the first stair set. A lot of tricks have no clear origin.

not sure about boardslide, but the first 50-50 was gonz, im sure the first boardslide on a handrail was natas or gonz
vid is from deathbowl to downtown, its on youtube and that shit is madatory viewing, its a documentary about the rise of street skating in new york. as far as stair sets go, im sure multiple people did it around the same time, as its not that hard to work up from a curb to a two stair, to a three stair, etc.
