Replying to Moving out west - what skis?

I'm moving out to Kelowna from Ontario this winter so I will be buying my first pair of non-park skis. I'm planning on getting a ski that will be good for in resort (big white and silverstar) but also allow me to take an avy course and eventually get into the backcountry. I'm planning on mounting with regular bindings and then getting daymakers for when I want to try touring. Being a park skier I think I will want a more jibby, symmetrical ski and I'm not as focused on charging really fast and being super stable. Some skis I'm looking at are ON3P woodsman 108 or 116, bent chetler 120, moment wildcat 108, Armada magic J, J skis vacation, Line sir Francis bacon. I only have park skis to compare to which isn't that helpful but I've had a few pairs of j skis whipits which I really liked and I ended last season on armada ARV 86s.
