Skateboarder dies protecting others while fighting domestic terrorist.
Mtuhockey33Your panties are all in a bunch because a 17 year old had the balls to go and defend private property from rioters/looters. Idk about you, but most law-abiding citizens aren’t out breaking into gas stations, burning down car lots and destroying the city they live in.
I’m sorry you don’t think that if someone attacks you, you should have the right to defend yourself.
These are the arguments you’re making (and looking like an idiot while you make them)
Im sorry that you have to rely on strawmen arguments and put words in my mouth.
nuno81291Modicum of intelligence, such as working my ass off to Start and run a profitable company, Invest all of it back and own 2 homes by the time I am 30 yes. Let me guess you push paper somewhere or live out of your car. Better yet perhaps you work for this great state making it a living hell for contractors like myself?
thank you a free America where I had the choice to pursue my dreams without getting robbed blind by socialists and Obama ites who claim “you didn’t make that!”
perhaps if half of these protesters had jobs or aspirations beyond sitting at the TV they wouldn’t be destroying others hard work

Haha I am a builder in MA in an area you’ll probably never be able to afford to live in! Good luck!
Go on do tell what brought you to this conclusion.
Mtuhockey33I’m honestly not sure who is dumber; you or CLQ. You two have got to have a combined IQ of 1 and that’s being generous. The amount of misinformation and stupid shit you guys say is the only reason I’ve read this thread. Thank you for letting me know that people are actually that dumb. Up until now, I just thought people like that were in mental institutions or just sat watching a TV while drooling all day 😂
I guess he's supposed to sit there and get beat to fuck then.
Again, I'm going to preface this and say I've got no idea what events preceded the first shooting so I'm withholding judgement on that.
ANYWAY. Are you going to acknowledge the timeline of what happened here? Because you're not giving an accurate account of what happened.
The first occurred after he had fired his first shots and killed the first man given the 1st hand statements.
No idea when the timing of the 2nd photo happened but judging by the look of it, seeing as Huber is still alive, that too happened after the first shots were fired but before the 1st photo.
What the fuck did he think was going to happen when he shot a guy? People would run away?
Mtuhockey33I don’t have to do anything; your lack of knowledge on the situation and lack of intelligence in general is apparent from your posts here.
Give it a couple days and you’ll be off your rag and maybe then, you’ll be able to think with a clear head.
And now that youre backed into a corner and cant use strawmen or whataboutism tactics you have predictably fallen back to using ad-hominem arguments. How original

And what first hand account says he wasn’t ambushed by Rosenbaum? Plenty of footage of him harassing people at the gas station saying “shoot me n****”. He tried to attack/disarm Rittenhouse and was shot in self defense.
i will add I do feel bad for all the dead, especially their families. Rittenhouse made a very poor choice to go there period. I will not defend his decision to be there, nor the rioters. It is sad that this is the state of the union, and my wife and I do have semi serious discussions about whether we would want to raise kids here.

snowfindersupporters of cops dont see it that way, they always believe the cops did the right thing. Even when video and witnesses say otherwise it is always the guy who died fault for not listening to the cops. Because you know they had a history that had to be dug up from the grave to prove that them being shot for not listening is ok.
I’ll humor you - Blake not only didn’t listen to the cops, but he was tased twice, resisted arrest and tried to flee. If you’re a cop, what else are you supposed to do? “Oh hey man, sorry for tasing you and trying to do my job. Just take off in that car that you don’t own, drive around town and possible sexually assault/terrorize other women in the community.”
His history didn’t have to be dug up; it was right there in plain daylight for everyone to see. Even the last time cops tried to arrest him, he had a gun under/behind the drivers seat. That information also comes up when they pull up his record. This dude isn’t a saint. Stop acting like he was. He’s lucky he’s alive.

Good for you? Are you making houses in the Dover/Weston/Needham/Wellesley area? How about Concord/Carlisle/Sudbury/Lexington area? Because if you're not, then they're likely in areas that are obtainable.

You haven’t watched the whole video for yourself and yet you’re telling everyone here what happened and how?
Dude fuck offfff. Watch the videos. From all angles. Educate yourself.
Unfortunately haven’t done any spec builds there but do plenty of renovations, last job was a full backyard redesign/hardscape in Wellesley. Built new homes in North Andover and Boxford as well as renovations/flips all over the area
I didn't know cops where judge and jury that could hand out death sentences. Ever heard of the six amendment or do you stop at 2?
The Sixth Amendment grants criminal defendants the right to a speedy and public trial by an impartial jury. Consisting of jurors from the state and district in which the crime was alleged to have been committed. Under the impartial jury requirement, jurors must be unbiased, and the jury must consist of a representative cross-section of the community. The right to a jury applies only to offenses in which the penalty is imprisonment for longer than six months.

Can you fucking read?
Seriously. How many times do I have to explain to you what I posted.
I never talked about Rosenbaum. I said I had no idea what prefaced the shootings. However, I do know that in the photos posted above, that was post-Rosenbaum. Therefore, it's not exactly accurate to post those and say "he had a right to defend himself" when he had just shot someone. What the fuck were those people supposed to do, let him just walk away? He killed someone.

Yes you mentioned that he killed someone initially by first hand accounts.. I’m saying from the video at the gas station and by the car he was ambushed by Rosenbaum, shot him and ran rather than be beat to death by the ensuing mob
Judging by the video of him hitting a girl he has mental issues and violent ones at that. Who is to say he didnt start the whole situation, one witness did report that a baby face guy wearing a hat backwards approached him with his gun drawn. If he did similar actions to innocent people he is the aggressor, they felt threatened and defended themselves against him and he ran off to turn around to murder innocent people.

Sorry that youre not intelligent enough to understand my rebuttal. I really thought you would at least be educated enough to understand how logical fallacies work considering that i myself have no higher education past high school; i work in the trades.

You’re using what if’s and “he said she said” to support your narrative... use facts.

Logical fallacies only present themselves in the absence of facts. If your argument used facts or anything logical, it would have fallen under those.
Fact he is violent and hits women
Fact he broke the law by carrying the gun
Fact witness report he was approached by him with illegal gun aimed at him
Fact he was the aggressor by his behavior
Mtuhockey33You’re using what if’s and “he said she said” to support your narrative... use facts.
Mtuhockey33Logical fallacies only present themselves in the absence of facts. If your argument used facts or anything logical, it would have fallen under those.
And thanks for proving my point that you dont know how logical fallacies work. Let me spoon feed it to you:
Mtuhockey33Where do you live again? I’d love to loot and burn your place down since you don’t believe in being able to protect your own property.
this is a strawman fallacy
Mtuhockey33Where do you live again? I’d love to loot and burn your place down since you don’t believe in being able to protect your own property.
This is an ad-hominen fallacy
Now construct an argument without using either of these as a crutch. No deflecting either
tried to post just the video but couldn’t get the link to it...
what do you see taking place? Have you seen Rosenbaum at the gas station getting in the face of others with the rifles? Dude was probably drunk or high and quite belligerent, took it on himself to disarm/attack Rittenhouse. This started it all....
Nuno812This is (if I am not mistaken) what started it all. First video shows Rosenbaum going after Rittenhouse. His defense claims he was attacked. The prosecution even notes that Rosenbaum went to seek him out. Maybe I misunderstood everything but did he shoot anyone else before this? They describe Rosenbaum throwing something at Rittenhouse, then this close range encounter. https://www.newschoolers.com/videos/watch/971345/Chaotic-scenes-as-gunfire-rings-out-during-unrest-after-Jacob-Blake-shooting
That's the first video but, at least to my eyes, Rittenhouse is already running. I want to know why he is running. Did he say something? Did he do something threatening? Or was it wrong place and wrong time? If he did something/said something threatening to people, it's an understandable (not saying it's the correct one) reaction to chase after him. The protesters are already hesitant to trust the police, especially after they've seen them supporting these vigilantes, so it'd make sense (again, not saying it's right) they would want to handle it themselves.
Either way, people died. A 17 year old kid should never have been playing vigilante in the first place. He was in a high stress and tense situation and he was not even remotely prepared for it.
.MASSHOLE.You mean like the cops did when he walked right past them?
Irrelevant. Anthony Huber was a complete moron for playing vigilante and chasing after Rittenhouse. If he had called 911 instead, he would still be alive.

snowfinderFact he is violent and hits women
Fact he broke the law by carrying the gun

Fact he was the aggressor by his behavior
Fact - he had a legally owned weapon on private property. You’re allowed to have a gun in your possession on private property. He broke no laws there.
Where’s this witness and how credible is said witness? I’m not saying it’s not real but highly doubtful. Not necessarily a fact yet.
Fact- he was attacked and shot back. It’s not his fault the dumbass who attacked him didn’t have a gun.
I agree that we can only really speculate what set it off... here is the video of Rosenbaum confronting others earlier that night. To me it looks/sounds like he wanted a fight. What was actually exchanged between him and Rittenhouse when he took off running/being chased only witnesses/Kyle know. Supposedly Kyle heard a gunshot, turned around as Rosenbaum lunges at him, fired and then took off.
no one here is a Patriot. I am not happy by any means that these 2 lives (and 1 arm) are lost. I would not personally be able to live with shooting someone stealing from me, I do struggle with the idea that it is ok to burn down business (something personal to me clearly) and does not justify death surely. I’m also not so sure it is a great idea to engage armed people the way Rosenbaum is seen to have. I never in my life would try to pick a fight like that, let alone with someone with a rifle... I just do not get it. It sounds like Rosenbaum May have had some issues... and it quite unfortunate how it all played out. I am in favor of the government stopping these riots, and understand that some say peaceful protest doesn’t accomplish anything... the whole thing is lose - lose.
Mtuhockey33Idk about you, but most law-abiding citizens aren’t out breaking into gas stations, burning down car lots and destroying the city they live in.
Yeah, most of the protestors are law-abiding citizens, not destroying the city. You seem unable to grasp that there is no difference between you generalizing the protestors as a violent group, because of a violent minority and the protestors generalizing cops as a violent group, because of a violent minority. You can't just say one minority represents the entire group for one group and not the other.
Well, I guess you can, but it just makes you look like a headass.

Yeah there definitely was a gunshot/gunshot-like sound pre-Rosenbaum's attack. I completely understand why Rittenhouse was scared shitless. He was in a tough situation. There's no denying that.
The whole situation was a clusterfuck by both sides. There was zero need to loot, riot, and burn. There was zero need for 17 year old kids to be playing vigilante with a gun. I don't think there are ANY 17 year old, hell, even any non-military trained person(even then we've seen them get overwhelmed) out there who could handle a situation like that.
I get not wanting businesses to burn. I get that not all companies have the insurance to cover the potential losses.
But fuck, to me, a business is not worth more than 3, if not 4 lives, being ruined.
It's clear Rosenbaum had some other issues going on. Just like the guy who shot the Trump supporter in Portland last night. Something needs to give

What does an English degree have to do with anything? What is wrong with people getting an education? I see this a lot from other conservatives that are farther to the right. Just because someone has an education automatically means that they are wrong, or biased, or a myriad of other things? It's so weird. It's like a reverse appeal to authority.

Apparently universities and colleges are farms to brainwash people into becoming liberals but when you bring up Trump's kids, higher education made them very intelligent, well-spoken people.
snowfinderFact he is violent and hits women

Even as guilty of it as I am by calling Rosenbaum, Huber and the guy with the handgun by their criminal past, character assassination works both ways... does it make it ok that he killed a convicted rapist and domestic abuser?
^Here's how his attorney has described events relevant to Huber:
Another attacker struck Kyle from behind as he fled down the street. Kyle turned as the mob pressed in on him and he fell to the ground. One attacker kicked Kyle on the ground while he was on the ground. Yet another bashed him over the head with a skateboard. Several rioters tried to disarm Kyle. In fear for his life and concerned the crowd would either continue to shoot at him or even use his own weapon against him, Kyle had no choice but to fire multiple rounds towards his immediate attackers, striking two, including one armed attacker. The rest of the mob began to disperse upon hearing the additional gunshots.
There's more than enough there to create reasonable doubt and a guilty verdict requires the jury to be unanimous.

DolanReloadedWhy did he have like an 85 iq or something?
Basically he got out of his car and started attacking protestors for no reason other then he hates them. He sprayed mace on them and then got fucking capped.
CLQBasically he got out of his car and started attacking protestors for no reason other then he hates them. He sprayed mace on them and then got fucking capped.
It hasn't been confirmed if the victim was the one who sprayed the mace. It was shitty mayor's fault for not accepting the national guard to come in, who could have kept the two groups separated in the first place.
If the guy in portland initiated violence then i cant really defend him. But if his only offense was “being a nazi” then that is fucking bullshit and his killers should be held accountable.
fuck, some people consider me a nazi just because i love german engineering.
Being a nazi and expressing your beliefs is not against the law. Doing “illegal things” is against the law.
if you are a nazi and you go shoot up a jewish law firm then your behavior is not acceptable in a free society and you need to be held accountable.
but if you are a nazi and you bitch online about jewish nepotism, your behavior can be frowned upon, but nobody has the right to kill you for exercising their right to free speech.
