I'm surprised this is taking the jury another day, I'd be shocked if Kyle is convicted, seems reasonable to think he was indeed in fear for his life, it seems pretty clear cut to me.
Still can't believe some people are calling him a "hero" though, 17 year old vigilante walking the streets of a violent protest with an AR15 and 2 people died. Just hope the non-guilty verdict doesn't send the message that this is "ok", because if as a society we can't even agree that this shouldn't happen, then that's fucked up.

Before reviewing all the evidence in the trial I thought he was a nutcase who was shooting people at free will. After seeing all the evidence presented I started to support him more because I felt it was wrong the DA got him on so many trumped up charges after they reviewed the facts and not what the press was saying. If I didn't pay much attention to this case I would probably think he was guilty.

Totally agree once the DA had seen all the evidence and not bent the knee to the media narrative he shouldn't have charged Kyle because it was clearly self defense. Truly a mockery of the justice system.

If you fire on someone while their weapon is pointed at you then different story, but if the individual points a gun at you, you don't react, then the person who pointed a weapon at you starts running away, and you chase them you become the aggressor. There is no stand your ground law in Wisconsin.
