What's up Newschoolers! Figured while I'm MOTM I'd start a trend. While I dont ski as well as Sammy C, I will actually answer your questions. This thread will be for all future members of the month as well when they're member of the month.
Here are my steps
1. Get a bunch of speed going switch, you're gonna need it
2. Have twin tip skis
3. When you're almost at the pond, hopefully going Mach 1 at switch which will seem way faster than it actually is, lean way forward, almost like you're gonna butter, but not quite, this will help keep your tips up
4.skim switch, you'll be surprised how similar it feels to a forward skim, and hopefully you have enough speed to make it across
5. Fucking claim the shit out of it, you just did a pondskim backwards, that's awesome!

My favorite part about Newschoolers is the enormous compendium of skiing history that the website posesses. I only started skiing seriously 4 years ago, and I knew next to nothing about the history of it. The first movie I saw was few words and my snowboarding roomate showed it to me. The fact that I can access so many old edits, threads, content in one spot is amazing, and I love finding something old that's new to me. Also it is incredible how many stories there are on this site, at somepoint I might throw together links to my favorite stuff that I've found in a news article but that would be a huge undertaking. I also love how I know I'm not alone in absolutely being obsessed with skiing an an unhealthy way.
Member that I'd like to meet most: I've met some of you, and every single one of you has been super cool, of those I haven't met, I would have loved to meet and skied with @Skibumsmith before he moved away. Also @freestyler540 because he is always incredibly helpful
Inactive Members: @Mr.Huck has written some of the most amusing stuff I've ever read and I'd love to meet him too.

All of the Newschoolers I've met have been super cool. @ShadowXVX was actually the first 'newschooler' I met a long time ago from 4chan's alternative sports board before it got overrun by wrestling posts. He's really cool. @AbiH is a ripper and will be the next Angel Collinson, except twice as badass cause she's texan. @Kretzschmar is too handsome for his own good, and needs to introduce me to some of his female friends ASAP. @abar. is a smooth criminal, and absolutely fearless. @Titus69 got the big bag of tricks. There are many other people who have profiles on this site, but I don't really consider Newschoolers since they're not very active. I would like to give special shoutout to one @jangus who I would say was my first real friend here in Utah after I got out of my mess of a relationship and knew basically no one. I can't say any of you guys have been the coolest Newschooler, cause you're all so cool. Lame answer, I know, but it's true.

Alright, I'll give it to you straight, you gotta go to the grizzly gulch parking lot, it's up to the left across from Alta, you take a cattrack out past albion basin and up in towards grizzly. The bootpack can be pretty brutal if you're not ready, and you might have to take a few breaks. Then look for the giant crater where it used to be cause ski patrol blew that shit up.

This is a tough one, I really really don't want to watch my parents have sex every day for a year, and I feel like I could probably shed the moniker of goat fucker within a month once I told people that it was either that or watch my parents have sex every day for a year.

I kind of doubt it, since I have no interest in going back to Israel any time soon, and the only time and place it snows is the Golan like once a year. Jerusalem gets some snow too, but I have a hunch they don't really like urban skiing there, nor am I good enough to ski urban.
I can do 12 if I don't use my secret pocket, but it's so torn up from routinely stuffing 6 plus. I'll have to see how many Virtika's new purple suit can fit next year
I will be rocking the Jskis Hotshot as my hardpack driver, and on the deeper days I'll probably have the Reckoner 112, but it won't look like the reckoner 112. I will spraypaint black, put a giant shrek face on the front of, and some quotes from the movie, such as, "Do ya think maybe he's compensating for something." "Squeeze the Jelly from your eyes!" "If it was me, you'd be dead." "What are you doing in my Swamp!" and of course, "I'm no one's messenger boy. Alright! I'm a delivery boy."

the ski boots are a big help because they keep your onesie off the floor. Find a clean toilet, preferably way up high in the main lodge, take it off past the waist, but scrunch it into the top of the boots and let her rip. That way your onesie stays clean and you can take that big ol shit.

Probably because they have lives and houses. I have 5 pairs of beater boots, 8 pairs of skis, a car, and all my friends are pretty much out of town this week.

Id say hitting the mega moto at snowbird is the gnarliest thing I've done there if that's a line, if not, it was broom closet before it really filled in with @abar. I had to go browse lady gabber for that one. Cutest girl lets go with @connecticunt because I'm also from Connecticut and that's also my choice for best newschoolers name if anyone asks.
