No this thread is about smoking. The other kind. I just bought a WSM 18.5" and can't wait to start smoking shit. Chose the smoker cuz it seems to be the best fit for me and good price point as $320 on Amazon right now.
Anyone on here smoke stuff a lot? Any good recipes?
You want a recipe salmon, in a standard blender put in 1/2 pound dark brown sugar, 2 tsp molasses ,a 1/2 cap liquid smoke, 1/4-1/3 cup of salt, 1 to garlic powder fill it up with water and blend tge hell out of it and pour it in a big zip loc with an average 7-8 lb chinook salmon cut up(leave the spine/ribs attached to one side) and squeeze tge air out and refrigerator over night. Thus crucial step is ti pat the brine off with paper towels, stick on racks and let it glaze ( not wet not dry but sticky like duct tape) and smoke away.
