Looking for a new set of luggage. Anyone here used the Big Bastard, Little Bastard, or Aviator bags from Douchebags? Were they robust, and how is the clip-on system? I saw a review saying that the North Face 155 liter rolling bag was better quality for the same price, but the Douchebags bag was an older version of the bag that did not have ribbing and had a cheap looking exterior.
I agree the Patagonia bags are super nice, there are also some Thule ones out there that I used to see at the surf shop I worked at and people used to love those but that was a few years back

I have one of those. Plenty of space to fit my clothes and snow gear for a week-long trip. I feel like you really don't need more than 100L. I usually just take that, my ski backpack, and my ski bag for long trips.

At least its a ski bag. Once I had to carry my skis walking from past Pearl Street up to the dorms at CU Boulder because the asswipe bus driver wouldnt let me bring my skis on the bus unless they were in a bag. Im still heated about that, it was about a mile and a half walk.

I bought the Dakine Fall Line and my only complaint is the bag is large enough that it's easy to pack it up so it's overweight for airlines, otherwise it's great.

My oakley bag has held up really well. Will prolly buy a new one eventually. But it's done a bunch of traveling and kept my gear safe and had some space. Who knows I'll probably keep rocking it because it's still crushing it. For all it's been though it's still in pretty awesome condition.

Unless you're going to climb Everest or to fucking Antarctica you don't need 100L of anything. Learn to pack and do a load of laundry somewhere, it's really not difficult. If solo I'll travel for 2-3 weeks with a 40L pack.

Just pack a ton of your clothes around your gear and it should be fine... it does sound like you overpack a bit with 100 L + of shit. Ski bags are pretty much all the same tho if you know how to pack- or just wrap your shit in cardboard and ship it to your destination.

lmao learn to pack, just use a big backpack and carry ur boots on ur shoulder, for skis just use a ski bag if ur on a plane but if its a car or sumn just carry them. dont have to pack 100L if its only a week long trip.
I'm looking for luggage I can pack a week's worth of clothes in, toiletries, and anything else needed for a longer vacation. I also am looking for a smaller carry on suitcase for shorter trips when my backpack isn't big enough for all my shit.
I've had to use my current big luggage bag many times over the past few years for moving in and out of college, longer trips, etc. so plz stop acting like I don't know what I'm doing.
just buy a northface base camp bag you could even find one cheap on craigslist or some shit I got mine of canadian cragislist for like 75 $ and they got backpack straps and I can fit skiboots+gear+clothes and toiletries so id say its held up for me quite well.

it fits a solid amount of stuff and the outer pockets actually have volume to them which is really nice.
