Jeffreys for Touring

This my second pair with kingpins and l love touring on them. Depending on how much to you weight/ level of skiing, i would look into the touring core. I ride a stock core so i know the ride down is stable and the same as my everyday ski.

Is the touring core lighter/stiffer whatever? I managed to break the core on a normal pair of kartels, so I definitely dont want anything breaking in the bc

possibly because Ive been considering some ON3P options for touring this year as well but im thinking a woodsman 108 tour or custom with a 50/50 layup or the touring one would be really nice, honestly. just my preference cuz i have both skis (woodsmans and kartels)

I would hold your judgement for now they’re debuting Jeffrey, Woodsman, and Billy Goat touring versions

Jefferys seem like a really good ski. I'm probably gonna rock some reckoner 112s and daymakers for my touring setup

If you are dead set on ON3P listen to the blister gear 30 Scott did it will tell ya everything you need to know about the touring layup. If you want to go lighter check out the WNDR intention 110. It was my daily touring ski this winter and I ski the Kartel in the resort could not have been happier with the intention. Im sure @mattsterbenz or @wndr_alpine would answer any questions you have about the ski.

The Intention looks like a fantastic shape and I love what WNDR is doing but the Jeffrey 108 Tour should be a bit lighter than the Intention 110.

I have the Jeffrey 114 with 22 Designs Outlaw X bindings and Scarpa TX Comp boots and goddamn its a heavy setup, but they are hands down my favorite do it all ski

Shit my bad.I just remember my kartels being heavy loved them as my old inbounds one ski quiver . Don't remember the stated weight on the new tour lay ups. My bad.

I am buying soon. Missed the window on the touring series, they sold out so fast! All of the Billy Goats are sold out too. (Will they be back in stock @iggyskier ?). I definitely plan on doing plenty of switch landings into pow. In addition to doing little 180s and 5s all over, I'd love to be able to tour to spots and build booters to hit on the same skis instead of hauling a second pair way out.
Anyway, I'm getting Shifts and got the FT Ascendant SCs. As much as I'd love the Whitewalkers, too, they're out of my realistic price range. I'm still strongly considering the Jeff 108s because, as I said before, I've yet to ski on a platform I like as much and think it would still be great for the BC. The weight still isn't too bad, a huge upgrade to what I have currently. I am also really attracted by the Intention 110s. As someone who cares about the environment, they seem like a great company to support, I can get the skis plus already-cut skins for just a little more than the ON3Ps, and I can get a free avalanche seminar which is a win for sure. What do y'all think?
