K2 Poacher or Armada Arv 96 (both 2020 models)

Convince me which one to get and why, I’m an intermediate park rider from the Midwest also. Looking to excel on both jumps and rails. Butters aren’t a concern for now I can do them on most skis.

Last season I rode the 2020 ARV 96ti and it was so fucking sick, perfect for the park or whatever else your mountain has. Except they delaminated/ kinda split about a month, and by the end of the season I had three monster delams under foot and my right ski was completely blown out. So I just bought a pair of poachers for this season hopefully they will be more durable.

I absolutely love my poachers if they didn’t weigh 800 pounds I think it would be the best park ski on the market but you just can’t beat those handmade swingweights

Poacher is a stout ski, pretty stiff in flex characteristics compared to a lot of others on the market. Most of the park heads around here are on them and I've never heard anyone say "I broke my poachers"

It rallies around, but being heavier it takes a tad more effort to work around, super fun board tho.

just checked, apparently the poachers are 317g heavier than the 96s at 184

they're both excellent skis, just choose if you want em stiff (poachers) or medium stiff (ARVs)
