Panhandlers: Real or Rickety Wrecked?

would never give them money and always stay w rural living . thinking about cities like SLC, New Orleans, St. Louis, etc. nah

I always offer food and water. Usually keep some extra water bottles in the whip, and it's pretty often I have some food too. I used to give them my change in philly sometimes since I was prolly gonna get my windows smashed in for it later anyway.

My buddy used to always give them socks. That's a pretty good one.

But yeah, it's kinda fucked. Also in cities a lot of places have donation things where you can donate to the programs for the homeless, shelters, etc, instead of giving them $$$.

if im walking in the city to say go get a gatorade or something at a cvs or whatever and i pay with a 5 dollar bill or i got change ill always give it to a homeless person if i see one (or i usually do at least). i personally tip a lot and will always throw change to the barista at starbucks or whatever. it is my belief that if you can make a persons day happy even for a moment or a short period of time it will mean a lot to them. i could care less what they do with the money as long. that being said, i do not give money out to ppl wearing military clothing, they are usually all fake scammers that have never even served in the military and what they are perpatrating is bullshit.

If people are close to a fast food joint and really wanted food or a coffee I'll buy that shit for people but only really if they ask. Not gonna buy food for someone who is gonna throw it away and keep begging for cash.

I agree but we really don't address addiction and mental health issues much in this country. Pretty much like lol wut is health insurance? And oh, you do drugs? Well either put you in jail ir wait for you to od.

I try and give musicians loot whenever I can. Even if they aren't the best id rather people try and mske some music or do something else.

The guys in philly were hustling waters. Thats always dope. Cold water for a buck. You can make bank doing it and a cold water without getting out of your car is worth a buck easily. And it's something people actually want inatead of trying to hustle bullshit or get handouts.

A gave a one legged begger 3 beers once and he hopped across the cross walk and into some bushes so fast, it was hilarious, just give them what they want and save them the hassle of going to the liquor store is my philosophy

I see too many panhandlers in Nelson that text on a smartphone while panhandling.
Not too mention my downstair neighbour thats 68, bragging how much money he gets to increase his living expenses. Dude can drink up to 24 beers a day...
