Hey guys
I'm planning a trip to SLC with hopes of skiing powder and park for 2-3 weeks in January and/or February.
The idea is to stay in SLC and take the bus everyday to the different resorts in the area: Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude and Park City.
I want to spend as little money as possible since I would have to pay for ski tickets, acommodation, etc etc..
I would like to know stuff like:
- How much does the day ticket cost in those resorts (just and aprox would be helpful since Alta website doesn't show the prices).
-How much is the daily bus ride to the hills.
-Which is the best part of the city to stay, I read Sandy is a pretty good choice since it is a little bit closer to the hills and with good accessibility to the TRAX.
Finally I would like to know your opinion on the trip. I'm mostly aiming for powder and good city life when the hill is too crowded (Nightlife, museums, restaurants, etc...). Tahoe, Wyoming and Washington are good options too but I haven't studied them that much.
As always, any opinion/tip/critique is going to be well received.
