Id love a fiberglass or carbon fiber reinforced 35 inch deck but afaik nobody makes any in that size.

Profahoben_212Bustin used to make the yoface in a carbon or hyprid carbon I think....might check that out. Not sure though
DolanReloadedWe are exceedingly comical arent we now.
Profahoben_212?

LonelyWish busting still made the huge yoface bgdk
DolanReloadedThat board looks nice but 41 inch length is probably too long for ollies and tricks to be done very easily. I like the happy middle ground of 34-35 inch length.
LonelyI had one, wish they still made it. It was actually pretty easy to ollie. You aren't gonna be ollieing 5 ft in the air or anything because of the weight but you have so much surface and tail to do stuff with. It's a skateboard that you could bomb hills on and do longboard tricks on, while also being able to do skate tricks.
It's discontinued now, wish I still had mine. The guys at bustin are pretty cool, might shoot them an email and see if there are any left around.
DolanReloadedInteresting. What about how the nose and tail of the board dip down so that the very tip is not much higher than the middle of the board. Did that make ollies more difficult?
LonelyNot really because you have the tail length and the board length to really exaggerate the motion and not worry about losing your foot placement
ColoradoDogfartWhy don’t you just make your own, it can’t be that hard
DolanReloadedId like to start a board company but you probly need a good press and a wood glueing system. No doubt it would be fun as fuck to make skateboard decks tho
DolanReloadedOh snap. Sorry profahoben i thought u were trolling me
Profahoben_212It's all good....the regular yoface is a 35. I checked their site and they aren't making any carbons rn....but I could have sworn they did at one point. Might be worth sending an email
ColoradoDogfartYou can easily it for under 500, pm me and I’ll help you out
MiIfHunterNo but I got a similar thing that I shove up ur mothers cunt and asshole while ur degenerate father watches
DolanReloadedHi banana boy. Got any pics of your bananas?
DrZoidbergBustin and earthwing did a lot of those thermoplastic lams, which I think end up being very tough. I have a this year maestro and I think it has some sort of non wood layer in it. I remember the earthwing thermoplastic lam boards being well liked. My friend had a superglider and that thing was so thin but it never broke.
I've still never tried a normal skateboard with fiber reinforcements. I'd be more interested in the board feeling new and poppy the entire time. I'm sure at some point it'll break, and it'll probably make a nice sound when it does. But the catch with all of these is you need to break even on the weight. Resin+glass weighs something and so you need to lose some wood and still end up with a stronger deck. Otherwise it's not worth it.
I've wanted to try just adding some to a new deck, too. Unidirectional carbon strips are cheap and I have resin from making surfboards.
MiIfHunterYeah I got a ton with me shoving bananas up ur mums twat
DolanReloadedDoesnt the instinctual urge to eat the banana supersede though?
DolanReloadedI just ordered this, one of the new bustin yoface 34.5 inch skateboards.
i have a couple 34-35 inch skate decks from skull skates but they are pretty heavy. Im hoping the yoface is lighter and stronger. A board that big needs to be stronger because ur weight has more leverage on a longer board. (Think of standing on the middle of a 20 foot long skateboard).
i cant wait to get it and throw on some indies and some bones or orang nipples bushings.
i also got these 69mm skateboard shaped 78a wheels which should make the board ride smooth like a longboard but still pop and land easily.
i cant recommend soft wheels on a skateboard enough. It just works so much better when the street is not extremely smooth. The ones i have now are 60mm bones atf wheels. They are 80a and make any road feel smooth. Right now they are called “filmers” wheels in the latest edition i guess bc they dont make noise and roll over any little pebbles. Perfect if your skating with a camera in hand.
LonelyBustin makes damn near indestructible decks. I have had quite a few of their different models from downhill race boards to their freeride longboards and skateboards. All have served me well. Currently riding a Welcome board for park but I've got a few bustin decks still lying around. The yoface boards that I had had a pretty aggressive profile, very poppy, solid boards
DolanReloadedCool, what do u mean by aggressive profile tho?
LonelyThe angle of the nose and tail and the concave of the deck
DolanReloadedOh. Cool. I also Wanted to ask u what wheels do you currently ride/fancy?
