I have a pair. I ski the east coast and I absolutely love them. You can ski them fast and hard but they will also slide around super easy due to the rocker. I had my friend detune them underfoot for rails and they feel super loose when they are flat on the bases. Lay them on edge and you will not find the speed limit. Great east coast one ski quiver if you want something with the stability of metal laminates without the traditional rocker profile that usually comes with them.
Thanks for actually responding! Figured I’d fired a blank on here. That’s great news, the reason I got them was for some in bounds charging. I don’t ski in super deep snow and it can be a little more icy than the rest of the western states so sounds like a good addition to my quiver

this isn't super helpful but i was considering them as a one-ski quiver for the east coast so i read up on them a lot and i don't think i heard one negative thing honestly haha
They dont float, but if you are on the east coast/ have wide skis that shouldn’t matter. No other cons whatsoever. Also, I mounted mine -4 which is plus 2 from rec I believe and I love it
I have wider skis for if I need float. I was wondering where to mount cause I mounted my last pair of whips forward from rec and although they were a little more playful, I totally felt a weird neutral stance that I couldn’t lean into. Do you ever feel your speed is curbed a little being more forward?

We run a dual radius on the Commander series, the front and back radii meet at 8 cm behind the center of the ski. This is also the slimmest [108mm] section of the ski.
The more traditional skiers usually prefer the -8 mount for a more aggressive, drive the front of the ski feel. More freestyle oriented skiers go -6 as it still gives the charginess and aggressive nature of a directional platform while giving the skier slightly more maneuverability in tighter terrain and in the air.

Lol let me try to help him with this one since I quite literally just had this convo with him.
When the new site drops on 8/1 they’ll put up all their new skis and EVENTUALLY what is on there right now that didn’t sell will go to ski burger or be sold at a lower price but homie said it can take a little bit because the roll out of the new products/site takes up all their time for awhile.

It was stupid hot last Sunday too. I’m not talking about hiking the bowl, just up to midway catwalk from the lot after the lifts stop spinning. Have a beer and ski down at sunset...
I’ll be up Friday and Saturday too if you stay around. We can take commander laps.
