This is a huge if (and I figured this would see more people in gear talk) but if anyone has this ski in a 179 that’s in skiable condition I will pay a very decent sum of money for them

There is no way I am parting with my Obsetheds. They are the best skis I have ever been on. Unsalvagably dull edges, about a hundred petex repairs, but I still won't replace them. Best of luck, OP.

You don't happen to have another pair, do you? If so, I might be interested (only if never mounted, or if mounted with STH and can accommodate 326bsl), considering how rough of shape both of my pairs are in.

I have a 169 mounted with a pretty beat Jester Schizo, mounted using what I suspect but cannot confirm are the Schizofrantic inserts that came with K2 factory skis of the time. If true, then they're pretty much unmounted. It's too short for me, so I'd be willing, but I doubt you'd be into short ski + mounting gamble.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm only interested in 179. My main problem with both my pairs of Obsetheds is that they've been mounted more than once and as such are about 4.5cm and 3.5cm further forward than I want them, so I'd love to get a pair that I can mount right at my preferred position.

I've skied stiffer skis (and I have some Dynastar Cham 127s which are very stiff). I like stiff skis on groomers but not off-piste.
