This weeks edition of Ask Me Anything is with one of our sports most rounded athletes - Sammy Carlson. One of the few remaining pros from the ol' day’s who is still consistently pushing the envelope of what is possible on skis. Spending most of his season stashed away in the Canadian interior, Sammy has found an enviable pace of life and continues to deliver mind-blowing segments every single year. Sammy is one of skiing’s hardest workers and one of the most genuine characters you’ll ever meet.
Ask away and don’t forget to tune back in at the end of the week to see what @sammyC has to say.

What's your stance on learning tricks in the park vs. learning tricks in the backcountry? I always find myself torn between the more forgiving nature of the backcountry when it comes to falling, and the reduced chances of falling in the park due to the more manicured takeoffs and landings. As someone who has killed it in both realms over the years I think it would be really cool to hear your input on this.
How much are you getting out for full days of touring vs sled skiing? With Rogers pass in your backyard are you getting out for bigger days of ski touring or ski mo stuff?
Tanner has his Chad's gap saga, Dumont has his quaterpipe hit and the gnarly park city crash. What's your most intense skiing moment either crash or big jump or battle for a trick?
Do you have any photos of the floor in your house? I heard about it on the low pressure podcast and thought it sounded really cool. I'd love to ski a run or two with you someday. @jakeanding
Sammy, I'll always remember your rambunctious spirit at events like Icer Air and at Windells Camp. You are truly a G. This is not to put you in a pickle, or put out a bad message to the youth...but..are you a proponent of cannabis? And how has the plant spirit influenced your skiing, as well as your being?
Do you feel like you're getting better each and every year or do you feel like it's becoming a struggle to keep your skiing at the level it was the season before?
