skiguy04Living your life vicariously through social media
skiguy04So then the opposite is true of what you stated as your first point
skiing got too big for it’s own good. I have as much of a chance having a phone call with tiger woods ex girlfriend ski racer or Lara Gut as I do with Tom Wallisch and that chance is ZERO
but hey might as well use the same technique for your favourite porn stars too
skiguy04Okay and we’re supposed to pretend you ever give some chicken to any thots you didn’t pay for ???

chicken4dathotzhey man i tried to hunt down henrik, i went to sweden and barked uncontrollably. no dice, so this is the closest i can get.
oldmanskiAnd dont forget this site. Pretty cool to come to a site and get a chance to ask a pro a question and they answer it let alone have them interact in some of the threads.
DIRTYBUBBLEI saw Tom Wallisch at a bar last winter and drunkenly called him Tammy Wamsticks by mistake and he said what up and shook my hand.

J-Webs88When I used to ski Roundtop in high school the early 2000s, we used to see the Roundtop Riders up there all the time. We thought of them as rivals, even though we were not at all on the same level. Stepp was probably the best at the time, only really knew of him and maybe Warnick. Ran into this guy Tom on top of a jump line, I remember he had super baggy pants and huge headphones lol. Exchanged a few words, he was a nice guy, which was weird because most of them were pretty cocky (well mostly Stepp) He did a few sweet switch 5s and 7s, which at the time was pretty wild. Found out later that was Wallisch once he started to blow up. I think its funny their website is actually still live at http://www.roundtopriders.com/.

ski.loonI do think one cool thing about skiing is that pro athletes, often, are skiing right where we are. Whether it's in the park or on the same lift. Wallisch mentioned this in his podcast with Dumont and I thought it was interesting. He said, ant December day, if a kid wants to meet me, just go to the PC park and there's a good chance they could ride the lift up with him.

chicken4dathotzHonestly one reason i love freestyle skiing being a niche sport is, and im sure i'll get flack for it, but the interaction with athletes on instagram. Like, it's pretty fucking cool asking Antti Ollila what he's riding and he responds, or commenting on Henrik's post and he favorites or responds. Just saying, usually wont fuckin happen with most mainstream sports (hey if you get responses from LeBron or Odell Beckham, thats wild, same with Gus Kensworthy!) but getting an olympic athlete to like your goofy comment is kinda neat.
Young_pattyActually it’s slowly killing our sport 😀

jl4wTJ Schiller fucking denies my insta requests
DolanReloadedi agree op.
i love it when somebody you admire is down to earth enough to talk to you. I mean im dolan so of course everybody talks to me but I think even if i was a Metrochadsexual incel they would still respond.
my favorite dj kris menace responded to me on fb messenger which i thought was cool. I didn't even tell him i was of german descent which he wouldve thought was cool bc he is from germany.
also for some reason jessica tarlov accepted me on linkedin. Shes on fox everyday as a liberal stooge but she doesnt bullshit like cnn and msnbc do so i kind of like her.
ASAPCarterGus blocked me on Instagram after I took a pic with him on the chair when I was like 12 and tagged him... that was pretty rad
freestyler540I met Tanner Hall at the Kelowna airport. Super chill dude, told him I was a big fan of his work. In reality I idolized the guy in the early 2000’s. We talked about how dope the skiing is in British Columbia. It really made my day.
I skied with Trace Cook for a day; great experience to ride with someone who kills it everyday. He invites us all to send a line in front of his cameraman.
Riding with Mike Kinrade was weird; couldnt really hold a conversation with the guy... he didnt say much
DolanReloadedWhy would he block u for that
