Can I justify Magnus 102’s as one ski quiver?

Hey Guys, so I saw mango’s new pro model (it is just a Magnus 102 with a different graphic right?) I love the graphic and am trying to convince myself that they’re a good idea (even thought they might not be, this is where I need your advice)
20 years old, 5’9”, 140lb, skiing in New Zealand at club fields and resorts. Confident skier that will ski anything on the mountain. want this ski as an all mountain ski for some park as well, don’t really care too much for its performance on groomers. Probably 40/40/20 off-piste/park/groomers. Current ski is ARV96, really love it but want something wider for more off-piste days at the club fields. My concern is that they are more rockered than what I am used to, so might find them a bit awkward, would I get used to this? Is it a silly idea to go for these just cause I love the graphic or would they actually be a good ski for what I’m after? Cheers

Sounds like the Jeffery 102 or 108 would be a better fit for you, the Magnus is an amazing ski but is more park focused. The 102 is new this year. And if you really like the graphic I'm sure you can do a custom Jeffery with the Mango topsheet.

Even if your young and light, rideing true center mounted park skis everywhere, leaves something to be desired.
102 jeffry does indeed sound tempting if you wanna go on3p, or maybe even the 108?
As you mention, rocker and profile in general especially in powder comes to play.
New revolt 104 might be fun as well or reckoner 102. Also do love my fischer 102 FR, its my goto theese days.

Mango’s graphic will be available on all of ON3P’s skis for a limited time if I’m not mistaken. You should be able to get the Jeffrey in that graphic too.

I rode the 102s all season this year and they rip pretty much everything. One thing I would recommend though, especially if you’re going to be skiing everything, is to mount them -2 back. That’s what ON3P recommends and I think you would have a better time. I mounted them true center and it was weird to get used to

One ski quiver in general is a tough thing because I’ve always felt it was paradoxical. You can half ass two things or you can whole ass one thing.
As for the Magnus - first, what was said about the mount point is absolutely right. Whatever ON3P says, do. Especially if you’re not just riding these in the park/streets. Additionally - the ski is built to be softer and playful. This is not ideal for a variety of off piste situations, one of these, most importantly, being what I’d call the “oh fuck” scenario - one where you’re scared and you really have to put full trust in your skis to help you perform.
Not sure about you but I hate being puckered or having to go Mach 10 on something that does not feel stable. Not that the magnus would feel unstable in these situations, but soft and playful does not always equate to hard charging/scary scenarios. And to me, getting scared on occasion is the best part about off piste.
You always have to compromise though so it just depends on the kind of riding you’re looking to get out of the ski. Personally I think the jeffrey is probably a better fit for what you’ve described.

For a one Ski quiver with an upside in Powder, I would really consider the new Revolt 104.

Like mentioned above, I feel liked you'd be happier with a Jeff 102 or 108. Maybe the 102 because I've heard NZ is more hardpack, but of course you know better than me. I've never skied the Magnus but I have the Jeff 108 and love them as an all mountain, one ski quiver.

You guys have all killed it with the advice on this one thank you so much, I didn’t realise you could get Jeff 102 with the mango graphics, might run some numbers see how much it’ll all cost and go for that, thanks everyone’
