edge problem

Alright so the edge on my trouble maker finally blew out, the ussual, i need to decide how i should fix it up. The problem is there is a part of the base sticking out, so i'm wondering if i should carve that part of the base out and p-tex the whole thing, or some how flatten the base and fill the edge with p-tex. And then i'm also wondering about epoxy compared to p-tex. I'm not considering taking it to the shop and having them replace the edge cause it would just fall out again.


Its only for decoration thats it and thats all

I would say use epoxy. PTex will come right out in a hole like that. And make sure you get good 24 to 48 hour epoxy and not the crappy 4 hour stuff.

Yea def use the better epoxy I have had shitty encounters with the 4 hr shit!! P tex not a good call if its as big as im thinkin it is!!

if you have a good local shop take it there, right away

it is just a beater ski from now on so its not that big a deal, i just want to protect the core from ice wedging and stuff and then fix the base that stick out
