171cm vs 176cm

I know ski length is usually just personal preference but I was going to buy some Magnus 90 171cm but now I found a deal on some 176cm. Is 176cm really that much bigger? I'm 145lbs 5' 10".

I think this is some sort of divine message. 100% buy the longer skis and do not look back. if you are claiming to be 5' 10" you should not be on anything shorter. maybe even look at the 181. everyone is different I know but my ex wife was barely 5'3" and she could rock a pair of 171s no problem

Yeah you’re a little light but at 5”10 you should definitely not be on a 171

I had a pair of Kartel 98s in a 176 and they honestly felt kinda small.
I am 5,9 and 160lbs I ride a 180 comfortably in the park.
Plus with a heavily rockered ski, youre gonna be glad that you have that extra length

Definitely go 176 minimum. The difference between a 171 and 176 is just 2.5 cm added to your tip and tail so it really isnt a lot
