Replying to Can I use the Armada Invictus 85 in the park at all?
Hey guys,
I'm going to be instructing at a resort in Australia and I'm looking for some skis. The Invictus 85 seems perfect for what I need. I found a great price, I like the shape profile, and I like the turning radius. However, I want to ski some park too. I will be getting rid of these after this season, so I don't want to spend a lot. Also, I have new skis waiting for me in the States.
I saw Daniel Loosli skiing park on Line Sakanas in another thread and it got me wondering. Many (CHEAP) park skis have too much camber or have too long of a turning radius for what I want. I've been all over FB, Ebay, Aussie ski shop websites, gumtree, etc.
Normally, I'd have a quiver, but I'm looking for a do-it all ski for cheap. Alternatively, if any Aussies have some skis they want to sell - shoot me a PM.
So - can I hit rails and jumps on the Invictus 85 without blowing the ski or myself up?
