New Ski Suggestions

I’m a 16(almost 17) year old skier from the Midwest and I’m looking for new skis. My home mountain is Wilmot but I spend a few weeks a year ripping around in Colorado. I’m 6’3 — 170lbs and I mainly ride park. I have powder skis so that’s not a concern. I currently ride the Nordica Soul Rider 97s which are great but I grew out of them. I’m looking for something with a underfoot above 93 that’s great for rails and jumps. As far as flexibility as long as I can butter them I could care less(don’t suggest those wet noodle Vishnu’s). For price I’m willing to spend up too $5-600. I’m currently looking at Armadas and I’ve always found faction to be a really sick brand but I hear they’ll break on you. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

Man what r they feeding the kids these days?

I personally ride Armada arv 86s and they're great.. check out the 96mm ones if you want above 93.

I would recommend on3p but they are out of ur budget but they will last you a good while but armada arv 96s or edollos are a good choice to

On3ps are on sale rn , most last years models are, and the Jeffrey would be great whether he goes 98 or 108.

The newer chronics all over for 299 rn, rmu Rippah 299

OP if you go into more detail we could offer some better recommendations for you. with a better description of your style , where your skiing far as park, groomer, trees, off piste, cliffs etc... 93 to 100, or up to 110 waist width skis,

I wouldn’t call myself a park expert by any means but Jeffery 96 was dope for me. While they are expensive the “ON3P cult” is more a family now and just the fact that I ride them has given me cool experiences with other riders.

Also you can find them on sale from the ON3P demo place in Montana there’s a thread on here about it. (Not sure if they’re sold out but I remember a pair of 96 with attack 13s on there for like high 4 low 5 I think.)

If you’re already rocking some thicker powder skis then I don’t think you really need the versatility of the Jeffereys and youd probably be better of just getting ARVs. Just my 2¢.

Either the ON3P Jeffery or Magnus. There is a very good reason everyone recommends them on here.

OP I would recommend something like the arv 96 or even the edollos if you really wanna butter, however the edollos only comes in a 180cm length witch is kinda short for someone of your stature.
